Parent Volunteers Needed On Mondays!

The Parent Volunteer Program is an opportunity to create a partnership between Saint Dominic School and parents by bringing the parents into the school to participate in activities that enhance the social and academic life of the students. Pastor's Holiday

In celebration of Blessed Carlo Acutis being canonized in April, Father Brian Patrick Woodrow has announced an extension of Easter Vacation. A Pastor’s Holiday will be observed and St. Dominic School will be closed on Monday, April 28, 2025.

Diocesan Tuition Assistance for the 2025-2026 School Year

Tuition assistance is awarded each year to families with children in Grades K-12 through the Diocesan Tuition Assistance Program. Financial awards are made based on financial need. In order to ensure a fair and impartial analysis, applications are made through FACTS Management.


There are two application rounds in which families can apply. The deadline for the first round ends on March 3, 2025; however, parents who missed the deadline can still apply during Round 2. 


Applications that are submitted for Round 2 must be submitted by May 12, 2025.


Please be aware that applications are not complete until all supporting documents are uploaded, faxed, or received through USPS mail.

Saint Dominic School Students Win Brick Elks Americanism Essay Contest

Congratulations are extended to many of our students for their efforts in the 2024-2025 Americanism Essay Contest sponsored by the Brick Elks Lodge of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America.  Students were asked to author an essay answering the question,  “What Does Patriotism Mean To Me?”  St. Dominic School students rose above the competition explaining what they can do and how to show patriotism for our country.

This year there were four divisions which included 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades.  The winners for each division are as follows:

Grade 5 : Amy McCarthy - 1st place

                 Juliana Ehrmantrout - 2nd place

                 Christian Balint - 3rd place 

Grade 6:  Peter McCoy - 1st Place

                 Anneyel Buchanan - 2nd Place

                 Myles David E. Macaluso - 3rd Place 

Grade 7:  Ella Concepcion - 1st Place

                 David McCarthy - 2nd Place

                 Kieran Lavin - 3rd Place 

Grade 8:  Lillian Jenks - 1st Place

                 Amelia Lauder - 2nd Place

                 Alex Pistolakis - 3rd Place

These winners will move on to the next level of competition at the District Level and possibly the State and National levels.  Let’s go Blue Jays!

An awards luncheon will also be held in April at the Brick Elks Lodge.  Our winners are excited to attend the festivities with their families.  Saint Dominic School is extremely proud of these students’ accomplishments, and we congratulate them on this wonderful honor!

Uniform Exchange

Saint Dominic P.T.A. is hosting a Spring Uniform Exchange on Thursday, March 20th in the Parish Center from 3-5 P.M.  It is not necessary to bring an item in order to take an item. Please help yourself to anything you need.


Lead U Assembly

We are thrilled to welcome back Lead U to present an assembly to our Grade 4-8 students on March 27th!  

The Lead U Crew is a team of passionate teaching artists who deliver high energy, impactful programs based on respect, mindfulness, resilience, and communication.  

All students in Grades 4-8 should wear GYM uniforms on March 27th.  

Saint Rose High School Grants the Purple and Gold Scholarship Award
