"O Most Holy Virgin Mary, Queen of the most holy Rosary, you were pleased to appear to the children of Fatima and reveal a glorious message. We implore you, inspire in our hearts a fervent love for the recitation of the Rosary. By meditating on the mysteries of the redemption that are recalled therein may we obtain the graces and virtues that we ask, through the merits of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen."
Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.

On May 13, 1917 three young children (Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta) from Fatima, Portugal reported that the Virgin Mary appeared to them, dressed in white more brilliant then the sun, and asked the children to "Say the Rosary every day to obtain peace for the world. And after each decade say the following prayer: 'O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who have the most need of Thy mercy"
Our Lady publicly appeared to the children five more times that year, on the 13th day of each month from June to October, encouraging them to grown in fervent prayer and instructing them to pray the Rosary daily.
Just as she did to the three children in Fatima, Our Lady calls each of us to grow in our personal prayer life - praying more often and fervently.
Throughout this month of May, let us seek the intercession of the Blessed Mother. May we take up the practice of praying the holy Rosary more often - deepening our connection with our Lord through the gift of the His Mother.
“When Jesus saw His mother and the disciple there whom He loved, he said to His mother, “Woman, behold, your son.” Then He said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.” John 19: 26-27

8th Grade Cap & Gown Mass
|
|
All grades will attend this special liturgy on 6/2/23 as we join together as a school community for the Sacrifice of Mass one final time with our 8th Grade Students. Our Graduates will wear their Graduation Caps & Gowns as their SDS School Community wishes them all the Lord's blessings as they enter into the next season of their life. Although they will soon leave SDS and venture onto high school.
We ask all the members within our school community to join us in praying for the Class of 2023 as they prepare for the celebrations and all that lie ahead.
"Almighty God, we give you thanks for the Class of 2023. We ask you to accompany them as they prepare for this very special moment in their lives and for all of the new adventures and challenges ahead. May the paths they take always lead to you and to the eternal joy that is their inheritance through Baptism. We make this prayer to you in the name of Jesus your Son. Amen."

Every year teachers receive requests to place students in particular classes for the following year. Please understand that there are many factors that are considered when preparing new class lists. We sincerely ask you to allow the professional staff at Saint Dominic School to make student placements based on their educational expertise. Please trust that the decisions are made to help the children be academically successful in a Catholic school environment. Thank you for your understanding and acceptance of our placements.
