Santa's Workshop

The elves have been busy getting ready for Santa’s Workshop! This wonderful Saint Joe’s Christmas tradition is this Tuesday and Wednesday. Students in preschool thru grade 5 will be treated to a winter shopping wonderland where they can purchase gifts for family members on their Christmas list, and we will provide bags for them to wrap their gifts.

Santa’s Workshop envelopes and labels were sent home on Friday to be filled out and sent back. Your child should bring the envelope with them on their assigned day. We ask that you and your student complete the information requested on the envelope and fill out the gift labels for everyone on their list before coming in on their shopping day.

Here are a few suggestions to make the shopping experience go smoothly:

• Shopping choices at Santa’s Workshop can be overwhelming, at times, for students. Please discuss with your child who they will be buying gifts for.
• To help the elves suggest age-appropriate gifts, write the age of those named on the list. You can also include next to the name their relationship "grandmother/grandfather/aunt/uncle/etc."
• Please make the list manageable. The students will have approximately 20-minutes to shop.

SJS Middle School Living Nativity

The middle school students of SJS would like to invite you to the annual Living Nativity this Friday, December 15, 2023, at 1:30pm in the Upper Church. This beloved tradition goes back over 25 years. Please join our entire school community in the final event of the calendar year at SJS. It is a beautiful reminder for us all of the true reason we celebrate Christmas.

Christmas Collection for SJS Staff

We are continuing the wonderful tradition of the annual Saint Joseph School Christmas Collection. The Christmas Collection allows families to contribute toward a larger monetary gift for all members of the Saint Joseph School faculty and staff. If you would like to participate, please do so before tomorrow 12/11/23, and please click below for more info. 

Trimester II After School Clubs

Winter Club Sessions - Register today! Each winter club session will run once a week, for eight weeks. Meetings will start the week of January 8th. The cost for each club session is $100 per student. Limited space available. There is a minimum of 6 students for the club to run. Once a club reaches 12 registrants, students will be placed on a waiting list. This season our clubs include:

Chess Club, grades 5-8

Craft Club, grades 3-5

Come and get creative with Ms. Balsamo, creating a variety of projects and activities!

Draw along with Ms. Harris and create wonderful pictures!

Speech and Debate Winter Session

Speech and Debate will be back for a second session starting January 31, 2024. Students in grades 4-8 are welcome to join the sessions, which will be held every Wednesday from 2:45-4:00pm, right on campus. Follow the link below for more information and registration details.
