Carline Reminders
After-School Clubs & Activities Pick-Up:
When picking up students after clubs and activities (beyond the 2:40pm dismissal carline), please leave the center lanes open so cars ready to leave can exit easily. Cars may line up in lanes 1, 3, and 5, while lanes 2 and 4 should remain open for exiting vehicles.
2:40pm Afternoon Carline Procedures:
Five car lines are formed in the schoolyard for pick-up, marked by numbers painted on the blacktop and cones.
- Enter via Highland Avenue and exit onto Pickering Street, making a right turn only at the end of the driveway.
- Stay within the yellow hashmarks to ensure all five lines fit in the lot.
- Pull up directly behind the car in front of you and fill in all open lines as you enter the lot.
- Do not extend a line past its designated row, as this creates a backup on Highland Avenue and prevents cars from accessing other open rows.
Maintaining all five lines is essential to keeping traffic flowing and minimizing disruptions on Highland Avenue. Thank you for your cooperation!

Dress for the Weather!
Please send your children to school with warm coats, hats, and gloves. While they may not need them during drop-off or pick-up, we make every effort to get students outside for recess or a quick breath of fresh air during the school day when temperatures are safe. To ensure your child can enjoy outdoor time comfortably, proper cold-weather gear is essential. Thank you for your help in keeping everyone warm and prepared!
