Saints Society Players: Grade 5 Musical

Our Saints Society Players are now in their 23rd theater season here at Saint Joe's! We are happy to announce the 5th Grade Musical - Disney's "Mary Poppins, Jr." With many wonderful songs like ”A Spoonful of Sugar" and “Super-cali-fragil-istic-expi-ali-docious”, this will surely be a fun show! Tickets are now on sale for our Thursday, November 16th and Friday, November 17th performances. Doors open at 6:50 pm and show starts at 7:15 pm. Tickets are $10.

Thanksgiving Cereal Drive

This year we are pleased to partner again with the Needham Food Pantry for our Thanksgiving Cereal Drive. The members of the Needham Council have informed us that their greatest demand is for cereal. We often remind our students that it is our privilege to be able to help others who go without, and this is certainly the case during the holidays. We are asking that each student contribute 1-2 boxes of cereal. The Food Pantry suggested any brand that is welcomed by your own families. Please send in cereal by this Tuesday, November 14. Thank you for your support!

Communication Update: Text Alert System

There will be a test of our School Closure alert system this Wednesday, November 15 at 7pm.  Parents/Guardians should receive the text alert on their mobile phones.

The fall community feedback survey was sent out this past Tuesday. Please check your inbox for the link to participate. Your participation is appreciated. The survey is hosted by Survey Monkey, if you haven't seen the email, check your spam/junk folder.

Parent-Teacher Conferences (AKA "Pick-A-Time")

Sign-ups for Parent-Teacher Conferences will open this Saturday, November 18 at 6:00am. Please click below for instructions on how to access "Pick-A-Time", the program used to schedule conferences.

Please note, 5th-grade parents should only sign up for their homeroom teachers.

Santa's Workshop Volunteers

Santa’s Workshop is a Christmas tradition at SJS Needham for preschool through grade 5. The Lower School gym is transformed into a winter wonderland where students join their classmates and shop for gifts for their family and close relatives and friends. Gifts range in price from $2.00 - $10.00 (most in the $2.00 - $6.00). Gifts are wrapped and brought home to place under the tree for their loved ones. More information will be sent home as we get close to the event to be held on December 12-13th.

We need volunteers for the event to help students shop, gift wrap items, and work the check out table. This is a fun (and famous) event that you will treasure; you may even get some of your Christmas shopping done!  Email [email protected] with questions.
