Art Show & STREAM Night: Wednesday, May 17th

Please join us for the 2023 SJS Student Art Show in the Elementary School Gymnasium and take a crack at some student STREAM challenges in the Elementary School Cafeteria and Library from 6:00-8:00pm. All students and family are welcome!

Ascension Thursday Parish & School Mass: Thursday, May 18, 2023

Please join us for community coffee after drop off from 8:15-9:00am in the Middle School Dining Hall and then celebrate the Feast of the Ascension of Jesus Christ at 9:00am in the St. Joseph Parish Upper Church.

Crowning of our Blessed Mother at St. Joseph Parish Church: Sunday, May 21, 2023

The crowning will take place after the 9:30am Mass, either inside the Church or outside in Mary's Garden, depending on weather conditions. Please join us and the Parish for this beautiful tradition.

Progress Reports

Progress Reports for students in grades 3-5 were made viewable this past Thursday on your parent portal and will remain viewable for 1 week; grade books for students in grades 6-8 are always open and available. Progress reports and midterm grades are intended to reflect a student’s midterm performance.

MAP Testing

MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) Testing continues over the next week and a half. Teachers will let you know when your student is scheduled to test. Please make sure your student gets a good night’s sleep and eats a hearty breakfast to prepare.

Service Opportunities

One Mission's Buzz Off - Team Saint Joseph School

The One Mission Buzz Off will take place on Sunday, June 18th at Gillette Stadium. This is the 7th year a team from Saint Joe’s will be participating in the Buzz Off, and the team has raised over $125k to support children with cancer. Follow the link below for more info.

If Saint Joe's raises over $25,000 with more than 25 Buzz Off Team Members, Mr. Snyder will shave his head at the End of the Year Party!

Pan Mass Kids Ride

Please join us for the annual Pan Mass Kids Ride on Sunday May 21st!  This is a wonderful family event where kids ride their bikes and raise money to fight cancer. The ride will take place in the Wells Ave industrial park from 8:30am-11am, for kids age 2-15 and includes a post ride party.

Needham Resident Bus Registration

NOW OPEN: Yellow School Bus Registration for the 2023-2024 School Year

All Needham resident students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 may register to ride the school bus, including students of Saint Joseph School. Registration is first-come-first-serve and is open through May 19th. After the cutoff date of 5/19/23 the pricing increases significantly. If you wish to ride the bus you must register regardless of whether you are Fee based or Eligible for free transportation. Information for registering can be found at the link below. Please read the directions carefully as there is important information regarding payment processing.
