Hammerhead Shark Sighting

Congratulations to- Grade 4 SJS Needham students: Ellie Urquhart, Catherine Keane, and Sylvie Aidlen. They are the winners of the "Draw A Saint" art contest at Boston College. Their works will be on display now through 12/9 in the O'Neill Library Reading Room.

Veteran's Day

In honor of Veteran's Day, and in celebration of the men and women who have served in the U.S. armed forces, we are creating a Hallway of Heroes this Thursday, November 10. We aim to fill the walls leading from our main office, moving towards the Grade 1 classrooms, with this tribute to our American Heroes!

Students are encouraged to print and fill-out the linked Veteran's Day template. Submissions are due this Wednesday, November 9.

PSA Meeting

School Store

Have you had a chance to shop our NEW online school store?! The store will remain OPEN all year, shop anytime. Orders will be shipped directly to the address you provide. Many items have different color choices, and most have different logo options; just toggle through and make your selection before adding to your cart.

Student school pictures were emailed directly from our photographer "Cara at C. Jane Go Photo hello@cjanegophoto.com" last week. Orders must be placed by Monday, November 7, 2022 at midnight.

Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

We are excited to again partner with the Needham Food Pantry for our Thanksgiving Cereal Drive. We often remind our students that it is our privilege to be able to help others who go without, and this is certainly the case during the holidays. We are asking that each student donate two boxes of breakfast cereal; the pantry suggested any brand that is welcomed by your own families.

All donations can be brought into school is Monday, November 14 through Wednesday, November 16. Thank you to our Librarians for spearheading this effort, and thank you for your support!

SJS 2023 Auction and Gala

The auction will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023. Be part of planning the best night of the year! Our first meeting will be on Monday, November 14^th at 7:00. We are looking for community members to help with the silent auction, class baskets, 50/50 raffle, decorating, and rsvp/seating. We welcome new ideas and your creativity to make this a night to remember!

This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved and meet other SJS Needham families!

It’s time to register for SJS Basketball! SJS Basketball is open to all students, grades 3-8, regardless of ability. Please use the link below to register your student for basketball.
