Members who pledge money will receive both pledge forms. Members who give money without pledging will receive the time & talent pledge form. We urge all members to come Nov. 3 to consecrate their pledges of time
talent and money at the single service at 9:30 am
A luncheon to celebrate our giving will follow worship. The Connection and Stewardship ministries will provide food and beverages. We invite all members to join us for lunch.
Property Ministry Update:
Windows cleaning: You may have noticed cleaner windows! We contracted with a window cleaning service to clean all windows in the sanctuary and Education building, in and out, as well as gutter cleaning; work was completed t
his past week.
Soffits and eaves: We have contracted with a general contractor to renew the coating on the soffits and eaves surrounding the Education building and the underside of our canopy between our buildings, with 2 coats of high quality solid stain, work will commence shortly this Fall.
Oak stump in front of the church:The live stump remaining after cutting back the dying large oak tree in the front of the church was left in place for consideration of forming a sculpture from the stump; rather than going forward with an expensive sculpture, a committee will be formed to consider the desirability and feasibility of using a portion of the remaining stump as a base for a bird bath.
Kitchen renovation: The kitchen renovation team has met several times with our kitchen design consultant to decide on final kitchen design, and has interviewed architects and general contractors for award of the contracts and submission of plans to the county for permitting later this year; work is projected to commence early in 2020 with about a one month project time.
