Homecoming Sunday & Ministry Fair

THIS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 12

The long tradition of "Homecoming Sunday" at Saint Mark's takes on a new significance in 2021! On Sunday September 12, all the ministries of the cathedral will be blessed and commissioned for the new program year during the morning liturgies. Then, following both the 9 and 11 a.m. services, the in-person Ministry Fair will resume, this year offered in the cathedral nave. Come learn about the many opportunities that exist in this place. Consider trying something new! Learn about an aspect of cathedral life that you have never considered before! The ministry leaders and volunteers of Saint Mark's are passionate about what they do, and are eager to share that passion with you.

NOTE: During the Ministry Fair, the Cathedral Beekeeping ministry will be selling jars of honey from the cathedral's own bees! $15 cash or check—supplies are limited!

In addition, this coming Sunday will feature:

  • The return of the 8 a.m. Sunday Chapel Eucharist, featuring the beautiful Fritts organ of Thomsen chapel
  • The return of choral music to both the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday liturgies
  • The return of the 7 p.m. Contemplative Eucharist in Thomsen Chapel, this Sunday with meditative music offered by Charles Coldwell, recorder
