HIGH ACHIEVING SAINTS

This week we were able to congratulate 43 students who made the Honor Roll this marketing period. 25 students made High Honor Roll at our annual Honors Breakfast. Our students work very hard for this achievement and it shows.

Before we close out the books this year I want to commend our students for another outstanding semester at Saint Mary School. We had 68 students on the Honor and High Honor Roll. That is a testament to the academic rigor combined with the eagerness of our students to succeed–a truly Classical Education school.

I know we were all disappointed when we had to cancel our Outdoor Christmas Market but all was not lost. We were still able to have a great breakfast with Santa. We also had tremendous support for our pub crawl–the kickoff event to our Polar Plunge fundraising.

Saint Mary School is a special place where children celebrate their faith. It is our Catholic faith that takes centerstage during the Christmas season. In fact, faith enriches every lesson, from literature and history to mathematics and science. Our teachers are inspired by the rich intellectual tradition of the Catholic Church. They teach children to strive for academic excellence and to see God in all people and things. The result: Leaders who view faith as the center of their lives.

I hope you will all join us for two special events next week. Our Christmas Play, under the direction of our music teacher Courtney Grogan, will be Tues., Dec. 19 at 7 pm. Doors will open at 6:30 pm. There are no tickets, first-come, first-served. Our Christmas Pageant will be Fri., Dec. 21 at 10 am where each grade will be participating in at least one song. Please join us in Christmas entertainment and fun.

God bless,
