With over 20 years of experience in the education sector, Dr. Troyani previously taught at the Catholic secondary school and university levels, including UC Berkeley and the University of Notre Dame. More recently, she served as Director of Academics, Innovation, and Growth at Escuela Bilingüe Internacional.
Dr. Troyani holds a Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame, an M.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A., summa cum laude, from Cornell University. She has continued to express her love for teaching by instructing Latin American History and Spanish courses (at all levels, including AP) during her time at Saint Mary’s.
Dr. Troyani consistently demonstrates a deep commitment to our Lasallian Catholic mission. She understands our community and is dedicated to ensuring that students are known, supported, and challenged to grow in virtue, scholarship, and service. We are blessed to continue to have her as part of our leadership team and are confident she will lead Saint Mary’s forward with clarity and purpose.
We thank Dr. Peter Imperial for the 21 years of dedicated service he has provided as Principal of Saint Mary’s College High School, and are encouraged to continue to move forward with Dr. Troyani at the helm. It is with joy and excitement that I look forward to partnering with Dr. Troyani in advancing the mission of Saint Mary’s!
