A Neighborhood Church Making A World of Difference
Sunday Sermon
"Interruptions are Invitations"

This is the power of an interruption. An interruption can ruin your day, throw you off schedule, can make you feel like you are not achieving anything, or an interruption can be an invitation.

This is what we see in following the way of Jesus… in following the way of love.

Interruptions are invitations to act with compassion and love our neighbors.

SPARK Curriculum

Calling all parents and caregivers of children Preschool - 5th grade! Did you know that our SPARK children's program curriculum is available to you each week on our website? You can find a parent guide, video lesson, and printable activity on the Children's page here. This can be used as a simple, low-to-no prep extra lesson you can do with your kids on Sunday mornings, as a midweek bible study, or anytime it works for your family!

These lessons are updated weekly and are separate from the weekly Children's Message incorporated into our YouTube worship services, but don't worry! Sue will still be doing the Children's Message as well. Here is a link to print a coloring page to go with this week's service.

As always, if you have any questions or need help implementing these resources Sue would love to help you! Please contact her directly at [email protected].

Contra Costa Residents Age 75+ now eligible for COVID-19 Vaccine

The County has moved into the beginning of the Phase 1B roll out, meaning all Contra Costa County residents aged 75 or older are now able to get the vaccine. In the early stages of this roll out, Contra Costa County residents can request a vaccine appointment online here. The County will be working with our health care providers and pharmacies to bring more vaccination sites and options to the county as time goes on. Eventually, you will be able to access the vaccine through your health care provider but at this time, all appointments will be routed through the county. Contra Costa County will be adding an appointment call center in coming days but all appointments will be made online in the meantime. The vaccine offered to all eligible county residents free of charge. If you see someone charging for a vaccine, or saying to pay a fee to secure a spot in line, that is a scam. You can learn more about protecting yourself from COVID-19 related scams by looking at this information from the US Federal Trade Commission.
