A Neighborhood Church Making A World of Difference
"Overflowing Abundance"
Sunday Sermon

Join us for worship on Sunday as we engage Matthew 14:13-21 and celebrate how God takes whatever we have and -- when blessed and offered freely -- turns it into overflowing abundance.

Congregational Vote

We will hold a special virtual congregational meeting on August 2nd at 10am using Zoom. Please plan on participating as this formal vote is required to bring Pastor Comer on-board. During this critical meeting, there will be two motions to vote on - one to approve Pastor Rustin Comer as our next Lead Pastor, and one to approve his compensation. This vote requires a 2/3 majority of those present in the meeting. Traveling? Not a problem! You can still call in to the meeting or access Zoom on your smartphone.

We need a minimum of 155 eligible voters present in order to make a quorum. If we don't make this quorum, we unfortunately cannot vote on the call.

Please make every effort to be there, we can't do it without you!
White Rose

We extend sympathy to Barbara French whose beloved mother, Margaret Davis, died on Thursday, July 16.
Thank You Tanya!

Tanya Nemcik, the Interim Children's Ministry Team Leader, will conclude her interim ministry today. With thanksgiving and deep gratitude for her service, the Congregation Council, took action to bring her ministry to a conclusion as we prepare for the next steps in this crucial area of our ministry under the guidance of a new Lead Pastor.

Tanya and her son Jacob will remain an active part of the Saint Matthew Community. Please take a moment to offer words of thanks and appreciation to Tanya for willingness to help during our season of transition. You can email her here.
Welcome Sue!

For the present moment, we are happy to welcome Sue Burke into the position of Children's Ministry Team Leader who will provide leadership for ministry to our children and families.
If you would like to collect items from friends and neighbors for the food drive, here is a sign that can easily be attached to a box for you to put out to gather items.

If you have questions, please contact Gail Dutcher.
