The Nominating Committee is in the process of filling leadership roles on the various counsels in preparation of our annual 'vote' in December. Opportunities exist for participation on Church Council, Nominating Committee, and the Saint Matthew Foundation

Change 4 Change Cleanup Buckets
Exciting News! Our sisters and brothers in Christ at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in High Point, North Carolina are going to be our partners in creating the cleanup buckets for hurricane victims through Church World Services. We will forward our Change 4 Change offerings to Emmanuel, and they will assemble and deliver the buckets. Watch the e-news and announcements in the coming weeks for pictures of our partners in action.

Candy Needed for the Trunk or Treat!
Sunday, October 28th | 4:00-6:00 pm
For the next couple of Sundays, we will have bins in the Narthex to collect bags of candy for the Trunk or Treat.
Grab Trunk or Treat cards at the Welcome Center to hand out to your friends and neighbors. Sign up at the Welcome Center to volunteer or contact Amanda Diehl. Let's make Saint Matthew's first Trunk or Treat community event a fun-filled success!

Moms of Teens Mini Retreat

Fundraiser for Kymber Starmack

Spread the Word and Save the Date ~ On Sunday, October
21st from 1:00 to 5:00 pm there will be a fundraiser for Kymber Starmack's medical fund at Calicraft Brewing Company, 2700 Mitchell Drive, Walnut Creek, CA in the Shadelands Business Park. Fifteen percent of all DRAFT BEER sales will go toward Kymber's medical funds.
