Dear Parents and Families,

It was wonderful to see so many of our parents, students, and teachers at the parish picnic yesterday. The food was deliciously cooked by our Knights of Columbus, cakes were won during the Cake Walk, and Mr. Cinalli enjoyed a cold and sugary sno-cone. Thank you to all the volunteers for putting on such a wonderful event!

Below are some quick notes for the upcoming week:
  • Monday, 10/8: No School, Columbus Day
  • Friday, 10/12: Interims sent home

  • Friday, 10/26, 6:00: 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat

If you were unable to attend our PTO meeting on Wednesday last week, be on the lookout for a separate email from Constant Contact with the minutes from the meeting, as well as important news that was shared. We have some very exciting events coming up and need all the volunteers we can get to help sign up. We have now earmarked a certain percentage from some PTO fundraisers to go towards the construction of a new playground for our school on the flat grass in front of the rectory. The more support we receive means the fast we can get this new and fun construction under way!

Scantron testing has ended and a Parent Summary Report will be sent home with your child's interim report on October, 12th.

Parents, choir has already begun and our next meeting is this Wednesday. All students who are interested in choir and have NOT already attended our first two rehearsals, must attend or they will be ineligible for choir this year.

Choir meets every Wednesday from 3:15-4:05 in the all purpose room unless noted in the schedule. The choir schedule will be posted on Mrs. Burke's homework page.

Has your child's teacher gone above and beyond? If so, please email and let us know! Our teachers do so much for our students but often our principal doesn't hear the specific details. Please email in your story, however brief, so we can ensure we recognize the amazing work our teachers do!

God bless,

Daniel Cinalli
