Invitation from
the Rector
The recent Supreme Court ruling regarding abortion in the United States and the upcoming referendum in Kansas (Aug. 2) regarding abortion access have stirred up strong convictions, emotions, and anxiety within our communities. In light of this, Fr. David will briefly reflect on the issue of abortion and the church during his homily on July 31st. Following the morning worship service, Fr. David will facilitate a conversation with any who wish to participate in Spencer Hall. It is intended and expected that Fr. David’s remarks and the conversation which follows will be frank and honest while being respectful and loving. All St. Michael’s parishioners are invited to be a part of this conversation.
