Poinsettia Pick-Up: Your holiday poinsettias can be picked up after church in the Great Hall on Sunday, December 11. Thank you to all who supported this fundraiser for our mission to Nicaragua. A small team has traveled to Nicaragua to attend the very first high school graduation on December 3, at the school we support. It is a wonderful celebration of all the years of time, effort and money that this church has given to the school.

Henry Biggs, our speaker, will explore the history of the Front National
and the factors in France that have led to the upsurge in popularity of the Front National under Marine Le Pen's leadership.
Biggs has multiple degrees from Harvard, UCLA, the Sorbonne, and Paris-Dauphine. He currently teaches at Washington University and in France, in addition to currently serving as President and General Counsel for two start-up Educational Technology companies. COH announces a new training program to be held at the Church. COH is a Christian community of lay pastoral caregivers united in prayer, shaped by Benedictine spirituality, and trained for pastoral ministry. These caregivers are taught a ministry of presence in order to bring the presence of Christ to the suffering. COH members give spiritual care to people in hospitals, prisons, nursing homes, homeless shelters, and private residences. Please consider joining this very personal and important ministry. Join Timothy for tacos and ice skating on Sunday, December 18! Plan to attend the 5 PM Lessons & Carols with the YM Staff and meet in the Armstrong Room for a taco bar at 6 PM. At 7 PM, we will head to Steinberg Ice Skating Rink to race Timothy from 7:15-9 PM. Bring $5 for tacos, $13 for ice skating and rentals, and extra for hot chocolate or snacks.

Confirmation Update: 8th Grade Confirmation Class will meet until Noon on December 11. On December 18, Confirmands should arrive in class at 10:30 AM and be picked up at 2:30 PM. They will attend SS and Church with their class, have lunch, and then hold the tech/dress rehearsals for the Pageant.
