Dear Saint Paul School Community & Friends,
I
n our prayers today we ask God to give our
Saint Paul School Students the necessary caution to keep them from getting this disease and provide them every necessary support.
Today’s email is for the 182 Saint Paul School Students. Parents please read, forward or print to them…
Dear Students,
As I walked the halls of our school yesterday morning it was not the same without you.
There are so many things I missed, like seeing everyone at Morning Prayer and your playing on the playground. Most of all, I missed your voices, fist bumps and squeezes.
I have set-up an office at home and like you visit the LMS everyday. I watch your posts and am in awe of your schoolwork, videos and pictures. They all bring a smile to my face!
I am beyond proud of your hard work navigating your learning from home. It is not easy to one day go from getting up and putting on a uniform to head to school to changing out of your pajamas to start your schoolwork at home. You are doing it, and you are doing a great job!
Your learning to read and write and do math are important. But equally important is for you to take a break each day. Just like at school, stop what you are doing and have a snack, recess and your “specials”. There are so many fun activities (art, music, and physical education) on the LMS for you to explore.
Keep participating in the Principal’s Challenge and send me pictures of your amazing completion of my favorite childhood activities.
I have enjoyed taking breaks on the weekend to sew scented heating pads, aprons and masks and this past Sunday I started a 1000 piece puzzle.
I am looking forward to getting outside to start my training for the Boston Marathon again. Starting on April 16, I have committed to virtually running the route in five segments on my treadmill. Each day will lead up to what was going to the original date of April 20. This is very sad for me, as I had been training all winter and reached 17-miles before it was postponed to September.
I miss you all very much and am looking forward to a big celebration the day we return to school!
Sincerely,
Principal
