May 15, 2020
Dear Saint Paul School Community & Friends,

God, we trust that you are good and do good. Teach us to be your faithful people in this time of global crisis. Help us to follow in the footsteps of our faithful shepherd, Jesus, who laid down his life for the sake of love. Glorify his name as you equip us with everything needed for doing your will. Amen.

Yesterday the CDC released new guidelines for reopening of childcare programs, schools and camps. We are one step closer but will need to wait until the Governor provides guidance for our state.

Please login to ZOOM and update to ZOOM 5.0. After May 30 older versions will have a forced upgrade when trying to join meetings. This will create a delay in entering meetings.

·May 21 Ascension Thursday Mass at 10:00 am
·May 22 “Half Day” - No PM Classes
·May 25 NO SCHOOL – Memorial Day
·Week of May 26 – Parent ZOOM with Homeroom Teachers - Date/time to come directly from teacher

2020 FIELD DAY
FRIDAY, MAY 29th
getting ready....
Field Day is an important tradition at our school.

It is a significant day for our students and our staff, and we feel that in these challenging times this event is a unique way that we can stay connected as a community and support one another in a fun and meaningful way.

During the Mondays in May, your family will receive the link to a set of event cards that you can use to begin practicing.  HAVE FUN - Activity Pack #1 is below!

We will continue to send you weekly updates on this fun and festive event. We appreciate your cooperation and are hopeful that your entire family will use it as a fun and meaningful way to be physically active together and with our entire school community.
BOOK CLUB

Ms. Barnes and some of the middle school girls have been meeting for a lunch book club on Fridays after liturgy. They are reading the young readers edition of “Hidden Figures” by Margot Lee Shetterly. The group reads a couple of chapters during their meeting and a couple on their own. They have watched biographical clips of the women who helped launch the nation into space. They also discuss the history of that time and how important math is.
ONLINE LEARNING
Saint Paul School teachers are creating videos that inspire discovery and creativity for our school community and friends.
