October 1, 2021
Dear Saint Paul School Community,

Last night we had over 30 parents, faculty and staff join Dr. Elizabeth Englander via ZOOM as she shared her expertise on bullying, cyberbullying and social conflict. If you were unable to attend it was recorded, and we will be sharing the link to view when received from our presenter.

A goal of mine this year is to bring in (or via ZOOM) guest speakers for our school community.  Please take a moment to complete this two-question survey so I may better plan for the needs of our school.  Some of these topics could very well be led by a current teacher, parent or professional outside of our school community.  Your input is very important to us!

There were two other surveys sent out this week and both will close at 5:00 pm:

Survey: AFTER-SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMMING and CLUBS (Sent to PS-Grade 8 Parents)

Survey: Washington DC May 2022 (Sent to Grade 6-8 Parents)

This morning our Grade 6-8 students joined Fr. Nestor to pray a decade of the rosary.  It was a wonderful experience to witness and an even better way to start their day!

We invite you to join us for our first in-person liturgy of the school year – Thursday, October 7 at 10:00 am. This liturgy is hosted by our Grade 5 Students and Teacher.

Help us speed up the process of afternoon pick up by:
  • following pick up times and do not arrive until 5 minutes before your designated time.

12:30p Half Day PS/PK
2:20p Full-Day PS / PK
2:45p: Full Day K - Grade 8

BAND INSTRUMENT LESSONS
Grade 1 - Grade 8
Paul Effman Music came to Saint Paul School this week to introduce a variety of band instruments to our students.
Grade 1-8 enjoyed listening to each piece and guessing the fun songs played.

The Paul Effman instructors will join us again this school year on MONDAY AFTERNOONS to host band instrument lessons after school for our students.
They will follow-up directly with you regarding instrument lesson times.

As a reminder to parents,
  • Grades 1 and 2 are eligible for violin, only, due to the fact that violins come in different sizes
  • Trombone is available for only Grades 4 - 8
  • ALL other instruments are available to Grades 3-8.

CLICK HERE to hear the band instruments and violin played individually. Be sure to watch the last 5 minutes of this video to hear all instruments playing together - it’s the best part!
