October 16, 2020
Dear Saint Paul School Community,

On Monday we launched efforts to raise the necessary funds to support our Fund a Need and Annual Fund.  To date there have been 36 donations and we have raised $17,150 - THANK YOU!  The installation of a card access and intercom system at the three main entry points (Main Entrance, Kinder Door, and Faculty Door) of our school and first floor fire doors to the gymnasium and hallway equipped with magnetic door stops are essential to maintaining a safe environment for out school community.  The total cost of this project is $26,000. Your gift in any amount will help modernize the access to and security of our school. The generosity of the Saint Paul School community has resulted in every Fund A Need being implemented, and I am hopeful this remains true even in such a challenging year.

Donations can be made via our website when you CLICK HERE or mailed to the school. In order to install the new system as soon as possible, we hope to raise all the funds needed by November 6.

All donations above the cost of the system will go directly to our Annual Fund. In addition to budgeted operational funding, the Annual Fund provides flexible, immediate resources, allowing us to pivot to new challenges and address student and faculty needs. Our yearly goal is to reach $20,000. Your support has allowed Saint Paul School to offer a full-time, in-person education, as well as remote instruction. I cannot thank you enough for your generosity and understanding.

AESC Director, Ms. Barnes recently completed a STEM course through WPI and next week she will be implementing "I am Stem, Stem I am” in PK through Grade 5 classrooms! She will read a book with each class and complete a STEM project.  Thank you, Ms. Barnes, for sharing with our students.

THANK YOU….
We have AWESOME families at Saint Paul School and cannot thank you enough for keeping the faculty and staff well fed.

  • The Abate Family – Thank you for providing the faculty and staff with lunch on Tuesday!

  • Lisa Richards and PTO for providing recess supplies for each classroom … sidewalk chalk, colored basketballs, colored footballs, hula hoops, and more!

SPS FEATURED ART:
Inspired by Malala's Magic Pencil, a story of hope and the courage to make a difference through activism, SPS students were asked if they had a "magic pencil", what would they do to make a positive impact or change in the world. The artwork reflects their individual responses. The overall message is clear,
TOGETHER, WE CAN ALL MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO HAVE A BETTER, SAFER AND MORE TOLERANT WORLD
