Dear Saint Paul School Community,

Our Back-to-School Nights and Book Fair were a huge success!

Close to 100% of our student body had a parent attend Back to School Night. This is amazing!  I thank you for being an active participant in your student’s education.  I especially like having all of you back in the building. If you were not able to attend, please reach out to your child’s teacher.

Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Hussey and all of the parents that volunteered to set-up, cashier and break down.  We can’t do it without you!

We are working hard to plan afterschool enrichment activities for our students.  Our top priority is to keep our students healthy and planning for age-appropriate groupings.  More information to come out shortly.

In the meantime, band instrument lessons with Paul Effman Music are back at Saint Paul School!  Grade 1-8 students had an assembly and demonstration by some of the instructors.  This year’s lessons will be on Monday afternoons CLICK HERE for online registration and more information about the instruments offered, renting vs buying, and fees.

Did you know that our faculty come together to pray and enjoy each other’s company with a lite breakfast monthly?  I kicked it off this morning and teachers were presented with “12 Prayers for Teachers” to guide them through the year. Below is one I would like to share with you.
Fruits of the Spirit
But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23

My desire is that my students and colleagues know that I am a follower of Christ by my fruit. I pray I walk in love and possess true joy. My desire is to have a peaceful classroom and to operate in patience. I want to interact with my students with gentleness and goodness and remain faith-filled in spite of my circumstances. Help me to be humble and teachable at all times.

Thank you for entrusting us with your most precious gift … your children!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Sincerely,
Principal
Learning is an Adventure of a Lifetime!
BAND INSTRUMENT LESSONS
Grade 1 - Grade 8
Paul Effman Music came to Saint Paul School this week to introduce a variety of band instruments to our students.
Grade 1-8 enjoyed listening to each piece and guessing the fun songs played.

The Paul Effman instructors will join us again this school year on MONDAY AFTERNOONS to host band instrument lessons after school for our students.

As a reminder to parents,
  • Grades 1 and 2 are eligible for violin, only, due to the fact that violins come in different sizes
  • Trombone is available for only Grades 4 - 8
  • ALL other instruments are available to Grades 3-8.

CLICK HERE to hear the band instruments and violin played individually. Be sure to watch the last 5 minutes of this video to hear all instruments playing together - it’s the best part!
