Rector's Corner
Dear Church Family,

I am looking forward to discussing what we can learn from the Seven Last Words of Christ with all of you! Join me for our first session this Sunday in the library at 9:15 am to reflect and study Jesus's words from the cross. All are welcome!

Blessings,
Rev. Emily Lloyd
Announcements
  • Join Rev. Emily for a Lenten study on the Seven Last Words of Christ. Starting on March 17th, we will gather in the library at 9:15 am Sunday mornings to reflect and study Jesus's words from the cross. All are welcome!
  • RUMMAGE SALE SET UP ON SATURDAY
The Parish Hall is being set up on Saturday morning starting at 9am.  We need some volunteers to help with tables, shelves and clothing racks.  Some heavy lifting is involved and also some easy jobs that don't involve anything heavy.  Once we are done, then the sorting of stuff can begin and will continue on Sunday and beyond.  We would love to see some fresh faces!
  • Women of Common Humanity
On March 20th we'll discuss Lot's Wife, The Woman Who Looked Back -  Gen 18:16-19:29; Luke 17:28-33 and Woman of Samaria - John 4:1-42.  This study is led by The Reverend Enid Cole, you can reach her at enidocole@gmail.com and 301-655-0043 if you have any questions!
  • The St. Peter's Choir rehearses every Sunday following the 10:30 service in the choir room. We welcome all persons High School age and older to join us. The ability to read music is not a requirement and no previous choir experience is necessary. The only requirements are a love for music and the ability to commit to weekly rehearsal. The Sunday rehearsal time is designed to be ideal for those who cannot commit to a weeknight rehearsal as well as parents who may have children attending Sunday school after the 10:30 service. For more information, please contact Daniel Weatherholt, Director of Music at  dweatherholt@stpeterspoolesville.org
  • St. Peter's Preschool Bible Storytime is back! Please join us every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.  We will start each session off with a few lively songs for the children and then enjoy two Bible stories.  Each session will conclude with a simple craft and a small snack.  We will meet in the Children's Chapel at St. Peter's. If you have friends or neighbors with preschool-aged children, please share this information about Bible Storytime, so they can join in the fun this winter.
