WSP Announcements
In just a few short weeks we will be setting up for the Christmas Attic sale.  Signup sheets to volunteer will be out on Sunday.  Moving of our stored items is on Saturday morning, Nov. 16 starting at 9am.  Parish Hall set up will follow at 10am.  Sorting and pricing will begin then and continue through Friday morning Nov. 22.  The sale is Friday, Nov. 22 from Noon to 6pm and Saturday, Nov. 23 from 9am to 1pm.  This is a FUN sale to participate in and it will get you in the Holiday mood, guaranteed!  If you have Christmas decorations, lights, trees, artificial greenery, linens, dishes, or anything Christmas, Winter or Thanksgiving related - just bring it in and leave it in the coat closet.  Tell your friends and family about donating or coming to the sale.  We are also reprising the Bake Sale this year, so sign up to make something delicious (remember that Thanksgiving is the week after our sale).  We will also have some gift items for sale and a selection of nice jewelry and toys.  For Questions, please email Barbara A at  bkandreassen@comcast.net .
Our total for this sale is now over $11,500 as additional IOUs have come in.  Thank you again to our great volunteers!  Money goes to fund St. Peter's budget items, outreach and other projects.  We will be having a CLEANUP session this Friday, Oct. 1 starting at 1pm down in the Youth Room.  Come if you have a bit of time to devote to this less fun project.  There is also a load of stuff to go to the Mihm's for the next sale in the spring.

PECANS This year's crop of pecans, mammoth halves and medium pieces, have been ordered.  Prices are the same as last year - $12 for the one pound bags of each.  They will be arriving in early to mid November.  Please let Barbara know if you would like to pre-order yours:  bkandreassen@comcast.net  They make a great gift and are far superior to anything purchased in a store.  They also freeze perfectly for long term use.

  • Parishioner Sam Hardwick has offered to help anyone who needs a volunteer to sort paper work or stuff envelopes. If you would like his help please email him at  samhardwick12@yahoo.com

The choir sings for the 10:30 service and occasionally for the 8:00 service. Choir is a great way to make new friends, to enjoy fellowship, and to further your music education. We have several fun events planned for the fall including special music for Advent and Christmas and a Christmas Party at Daniel and Elizabeth's home in Baltimore.
