How many years have you been teaching total? 25

How long have you taught at All Saints’? 22

What does All Saints’ mean to you as a parent? I feel so grateful to ASEDS for educating my children.  Teachers were truly invested in them as they grew up and loved them unconditionally.  My children enjoyed every minute of their years here and wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Why do you work at All Saints’? I choose to teach at ASEDS because I believe in the mission. Working in an atmosphere that values all types of children is very important to me. I feel honored to work in a place where everyone is supportive of each other and wants to see their colleagues grow and succeed. It’s truly a happy place and I feel right at home when I enter the doors each day!

What is something about you that not many people know? I collect disco balls! I started my PhD while I was living in Columbia and teaching at Heathwood Hall.  I put it on hold to raise my own children.  As a new empty-nester I may decide to pursue it once again!

What is something that you’ve recently read that spoke to you?

I recently read an article (below) that spoke to me and affirmed even more what I believe about raising children. I think it is an article that is valuable for all parents to read. Parenting is hard- there is no rule book, but one of the beautiful things about being part of the All Saints’ community is that we are all in this together!
