All Saints' January Update:

Head of School and

Chairman of ASEDS Board of Directors

Dear ASEDS Families,

Having completed sixty-two years, it is important to maintain the rich traditions established at All Saints'. It is equally important to look to the future and do our part to insure that the school is on a path to meet the needs and expectations of our school community.

While we are continually striving to offer the best possible educational experience for our students and families, a critical part of achieving the school’s mission is in strategic planning. To that end, the Board has approved the hiring of Independent School Management (ISM), a renowned independent school consultant company in the area of strategic planning for educational institutions, to assist us in planning for the future of All Saints’. As a school, it is imperative that we identify and strengthen our institutional priorities so that we may reaffirm who we are and continue to fulfill the mission of the school.

The plan, administered and overseen by ISM, will articulate the School’s priorities and objectives identified by the administration, the faculty and our ASEDS families. ISM will be inviting one person per household to participate in a confidential survey tomorrow. Be on the lookout for an email from ISM as your input is crucial. We greatly value your honest feedback about school strengths and weaknesses. The strategic plan developed throughout this process will guide All Saints’ in our efforts to improve and grow the school’s long-term sustainability.

We look forward to a strong second semester and end to the school year. Thank you in advance for your thoughtful participation in the strategic planning process and for your continued support of All Saints’.

Sincerely,

Evan Powell, Head of School
