HEAD OF SCHOOL MUSINGS
Our mission boldly states that our students, today and throughout their lives, will ‘lead lives of service’. We no longer require service, but we do expect it from every Saint.
 
For us, service is best represented in the person of Jesus Christ who came to earth to serve, not to be served. It is core to the Christian message, starting with ‘love your neighbor as yourself' and because of that, we regularly promote service opportunities on campus, in our valley, for our country, and around the globe.
 
Colleges no longer admire candidates for admission who are required to do service while extrinsically motivated to ‘clock’ hours. They desire, as do we, students who are intrinsically motivated to serve and who desire to give back.
 
For all 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students, it’s incredibly important to document their service (organization, description, etc.) in the resume portion of Naviance. Contact Director of College and Career Counseling Mrs. Petersmeyer (apetersmeyer@vchsweb.org) for more information.

Congratulations Battle Mountain Huskies Hockey Team for scoring 22 goals compared to their opponents 4 goals in the last three games. Vail Christian High School has several boys playing for the Huskies: Varsity (pictured here) Nate Bishop '23, Caiden Dardanis '23, Ollie Grems '23, Brock Petersmeyer '23; Junior Varsity Keegan Collins '23, Max Darling '23 and Colin Foppe '25.

A special shout out to Caiden Dardanis who scored a hat trick in this past Saturday's game against Aspen.

VCHS Welcomes Two New Students

Digital Access at VCHS
Good news- Digital access has come to VCHS! This will enable students to have the access they need to VCHS facilities while ensuring that both buildings stay locked down and secure. 

We will be issuing key cards to students on Tuesday during Flex. In order for a student to receive their key card, a "Door Access Credential User Acceptance Agreement" must be completed for each student.

VCHS PARKING PROTOCOL
STUDENT DRIVERS & PARENTS - PLEASE READ

All students parking on campus must have:
  • Vehicle Registration on file in RenWeb
  • Vehicle Information Form on file
  • Parking permit

When parking on campus, students must:
  • Park in their designated spot/lot
  • Display parking permit on windshield
  • Never use parallel spots by buildings
  • Drive safely on campus at all times

Students who have assigned parking spots in the West Lot (faculty and student parking lot) may not move their vehicles to the East Lot (gymnasium side) until after 3:15pm

Thank you for helping us keep our campus safe and efficient for everyone.
