HEAD OF SCHOOL MUSINGS
Faster than a speeding bullet. More powerful than a train. Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.
It’s JC Moritz – VCHS Trifecta
  • Technology Director
  • Facilities Director
  • Boys Basketball Coach

I want to take a moment and thank our own “Superman” for taking on the facilities role and joining our team full-time. As we’ve heavily invested in our technology infrastructure, and continue to do so, JC has been invaluable with that work, as well as supporting teachers day-to-day. The blending of the technology and facility roles complement each other so well and allow JC to have a full-day campus presence to support each.

Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s JC Moritz!

BRAVOS!
VCHS students raise $1,200 for Student Council through volunteer service
Sophomores Aria, Ava and Jillian helped to set up the United Way Youth Closet & Toy Chest. They moved everything in, designed the layout of equipment and displayed the inventory. Their combined effort of 48 hours earned $1,200 for VCHS, earmarked for student activities through STUCO.

The mission of the Youth Closet is to provide free school clothing and parenting supplies, so our local families who are struggling to meet their basic needs, can stretch their limited income for other necessities such as food, shelter, and medicine.

FAITH MATTERS

HEALTHY MIND & SPIRIT
Inspired Leadership

Making lasting change in the world means staying true to deeply-held principles.

While King was unquestionably a brilliant thinker, an expert speaker and a great many other things, it’s his skilled leadership that enabled his message to translate from a man to a movement to a monument—both literal in the stone edifice that stands in Washington, DC, and figurative in the form of civil rights laws that were born from his steadfast work.
SERVICE MATTERS
Volunteer opportunities are available for students and families who would like to donate their time to the Youth Closet & Toy Chest!

United Way of Eagle River Valley, like all United Ways worldwide, fights for health, education, and financial stability. In these difficult times that persist, families everywhere are struggling to make ends meet. Our United Way is responding to the COVID crisis locally with several relief programs, including the Youth Closet & Toy Chest.

If you would like to volunteer please Contact Rebecca Kanaly at (303)994-2622 or
