Let’s say your home is for sale. How would you prepare it for an Open House? What would generate homebuyer interest? Given the other options, what would make your home sell?
The most compelling feature of the VCHS ‘home’ is its people. Unlike a typical real estate Open House with the homeowners not present, at VCHS it’s ‘all hands on deck.’ It’s our amazing community, especially our teachers and students, who ‘sell’ VCHS. That’s why this Thursday night is a must-experience event.
We are expecting over 100 people to attend including 8th graders from nine local middle schools (the future VCHS Class of 2029).
We have an admissions team composed of 38 Student Ambassadors (9th-12th graders). They will divide up and take small groups around to seven stations in which prospective families will learn more about the unique personalities and offerings only found at VCHS. Student Ambassadors will also share what it means to be (and to become) a Portrait of a Saint.
The seven stations include: 1) Math/Science 2) English/World Language 3) Social Studies/Theology 4) College Counseling/Counseling – Mental Health/Student Success Center 5) PLTW/Clubs 6) Arts and 7) Athletics.
Kristy Maslan (Director of Admissions) has spent weeks preparing for this special event. If you know a family who should attend, it’s not too late for them to simply show up or contact Kristy at kmaslan@vchs.org. The VCHS Open House begins at 5:30 Thursday night.
It’s a great day to be a Saint!
