BRAVOS!
Congratulations VCHS Seniors!
Almost all of our seniors have applied to college and many have already received acceptances!
Mock Election
On Monday and Tuesday this week, VCHS students went to the polls to submit their presidential ballots for the 2020 election. Donald J. Trump/Michael R. Pence finished in first winning 45% of the popular vote.

In a tight race and impacted by the junior class, Kanye West/Michelle Tidball finished second with 27% of the popular vote. Joseph R. Biden/Kamala D. Harris finished in a close third with 24% of the popular vote.

A few additional candidates included Don Blankenship/William Mohr, Jo Jorgensen/Jeremy “Spike” Cohen, and there was one write-in for Mr. O’Neil/Ms. Larson.

Thank you to Mr. O’Neil’s DE U.S. Government class for tallying the votes and to all of our students for practicing their civic and democratic responsibility to vote.

HEALTHY MIND & SPIRIT
As the COVID-19 outbreak moves into another month, do you find yourself feeling angry? Helpless? Sad? Lost? Disappointed? Accepting? Or maybe you run through the gamut of emotions on a given day or week. According to Erica Lee and Heather Potts, psychologists in the Department of Psychiatry at Boston Children’s Hospital, these feelings are all understandable reactions to the grief we feel at the loss of our “normal” lives.
