Sunday Monday happy days

Thursday Friday happy days
Saturday what a day
Rockin' all week for you
Only a few weeks away, mark your calendars for April 21-23 when our Saints will take the stage and perform this year’s musical – Happy Days. Why did Theater Director Melinda Carlson choose this musical? She told me, “We need something lighthearted, with lots of male roles, and that accommodates almost one-third of our student body.”
Think about her last point for a moment – 1/3rd of the VCHS student body! Do you know of another school not solely devoted to the performing arts that has so many students involved with their school’s musical production? Mrs. Carlson has developed a Vail Christian culture in which the arts and athletics excel, are highly valued, and one in which the lines are blurred between artists and athletes. I’m thrilled to see so many of our young men play lead roles such as Alec Bruno (Richie), Carlos Chavez (Fonzie), Aiden Kelley (Ralph), John McAbee (Potsie), and Jack Pryor (Richie), just to name a few.
Be ready for some magical choreography especially with roller skating. Enjoy the story as the kids plan to save Arnolds from being demolished by hosting a dance contest and wrestling match.
Shout outs also go to Mrs. Heidi Cofelice (set/prop director), Ms. Kasey Desmond (stage crew), Mrs. Krista McClinton (costumes), and Mr. Colin Meiring (choreography).
Break a leg, Saints!

VCHS Welcomes Guest Speaker to Chapel
Scott O'Grady, main character of the movie "Behind Enemy Lines" will speak at VCHS Chapel on Wednesday, March 30th.
Scott loves the Lord and has a great testimony.

|
For the stretch of a few weeks in the mid 90's, there was nobody more famous than Captain Scott O'Grady. An American hero, Scott's F-16 was struck by a surface-to-air missile and forced to eject, he had to survive behind enemy lines for 6 days. As the whole country prayed and held their breath, the radio transmitted a voice from a hill in Bosnia, "I'm alive, I'm alive." The United States Marine Corp soon rescued Captain O'Grady and he still tells this harrowing tale today.
At 11:00 am on March 30th in Grace Auditorium, come hear his story as the Theology Department of Vail Christian High School welcomes this special guest.
