Greetings! Enjoy our Saints News!
HEAD OF SCHOOL MUSINGS
The graduation headliner is the VCHS Class of ’21 who will receive their diplomas this Sunday at the Ford Amphitheater sometime between 10:00 and 11:15. They most deserve the spotlight having just pressed through 14 months of a global pandemic impacting the end of their junior year and their entire senior year. I’m inspired by, and will never forget, this amazing class!

So what better way to cap it off than to have Michael Jr. serve as their graduation speaker helping them, and us, laugh together while contemplating life’s deeper meaning with his keynote address – Funny How Life Works. We need some fun and laughter more than ever, and I can think of few better gifts than this to give to the Class of ’21.

Known as one of today's most gifted communicators, Michael Jr brings laughter and encouragement to audiences all over the world. He has been on NBC’s The Tonight Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live. You can see him in Sony Pictures' feature film War Room, as well as starring roles in Selfie Dad, Laughing on Purpose, and More Than Funny.

Join us with or without a mask at 10:00 this Sunday at Ford Amphitheater as we celebrate with and honor the Class of ’21!

SERVICE MATTERS
Limited spaces are available!
Students Shoulder to Shoulder is a locally-based non-profit that gives students the opportunity to learn about ethical leadership from inspiring nonprofit leaders. Students discover the complexity of global challenges while immersed in the communities they serve, working with children and focused on the environment.

SStS has a bold purpose – to grow a global network of ethical leaders. This summer, SStS is offering 9 global, domestic, and Colorado based trips. There is also a Colorado trip based in Boulder in which students will work with Thorne Nature Experience connecting environmental stewardship and a youth camp program. VCHS students can apply for this opportunity and join other SStS member school students.
