Nine VCHS Science fans who are considering potential fields of study and future careers in medicine, research, engineering, or sports-related fields, spent an amazing week in June exploring each department of Steadman Philippon Research Institute's state-of-the-art, internationally known research facility at Vail Health.They worked in small teams to gain hands-on orthopedic experience. Activities included: biomotion lab, imaging, robotics, stem cell research, specimen dissection and shadowing surgeons in the surgical suites.
