All School Mass
All-school Masses at StJPII are very special times for our community to come together as the Body of Christ. This Friday, August 23 will be All-school Mass at 8:30 a.m in the BAC. All are welcome to attend.
As we start the new year, we would like to remind everyone that even though the rooms we are in are a gym and cafeteria, on Friday mornings, they transform to our worship space to celebrate Mass. We are so privileged that we can gather together, and so it is our intention to do so with reverence. Please help us create a holy atmosphere by respecting the following:
- Upon entering the doors from the outside, silence yourselves and treat the space like you would treat the church that you attend on the weekend.
- Turn off your cell phones.
- Save your food and drink for after Mass, please do not bring them with you.
- Out of respect for the celebration of our Divine Savior, we ask that you do not take photos.
- At the end of the Mass, we will all exit our church silently. As the children exit out of the front and side doors, parents will exit directly out of the back doors. You may save your hugs for after school.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation! We appreciate you for modeling proper worship etiquette, and more importantly, for helping us maintain a holy space where we can all pray and worship together.
Wednesday Mass
Optional daily Mass will begin tomorrow, Wednesday August 21. All are welcome! Mass starts at 7:10 and ends at 7:40. It’s in the All Saints Chapel every Wednesday before school. What a beautiful way to start the day by worshiping the Lord!

Happy New School Year! Library started yesterday, August 19 for all students. We have story time for little ones in PK and Kinder. First grade through eighth grade will come for orientation lessons and TAUP , Technology Acceptable Use Policy, talks about using chrome books. When your child brings home a book(s) do ask them to read it to you, with you, and talk about the stories. Share with your child about books you loved when you were there age. Books are checked out for one week except 7th and 8th grade they have a bit longer. When students return books on time they will be allowed to check out a new one. We have a place for second grade and higher 1 book for fun and 1 book to practice reading (chapter book). Thank you for your encouragement with this plan. Look for more tidbits from your librarian and links to the Google site soon. Happy Reading! Sherry Lamb, Your Librarian

Elementary Athletics
Soccer registration closes FRIDAY! Please register each child separately and remember to consider giving your time to coach our younger kiddos! This program solely relies upon volunteer coaches.
Middle School Athletics
Well Fall sports are up and running! Volleyball & Soccer teams are formed, Football has been practicing since the 1st week of August, and Cross Country kicks off next Monday! The Diocese has pushed back the official start of the season for OUTDOOR sports due to the Heat Index (HI). This means we are allowed to practice, but we have to abide by only allowing the athletes to practice on the field for 15 minutes, then off the field in shade for 15 minutes. Our coaches have been very diligent and careful with each individual sport to keep their safety of the utmost importance. Check out the Athletic calendar to see the 2024 Fall sports teams!
Cross Country is a NON-TRYOUT sport that is open to 5th-8th grade boys & girls. You MUST have a MS Sports Physical dated after May 1st, 2024, submitted to our school nurse Mrs. Rhoden, or to Coach Hewitt prior to the start of practice. Students report to the gym at dismissal to meet Coach Jones, when all grade levels are present you will proceed to the field for practice.
