Dear Saint Families,
Happy Tuesday! It is hard to believe that we are in the last week of February with Lent right around the corner! As we quickly approach the Lenten season, I hope you will be using this time the Lord gives us for prayer and reflection before the celebration of Easter. Many of you might recall that this is my favorite season within the church.
Jesus Calling today had a beautiful reflection calling me to remember not to worry and to place my trust and dependence on Him. Enjoy the scripture reflection below and I hope to see many of you at First Friday Mass this week.
“I am leading you step by step through your life. Hold my hand in trusting dependence, letting Me guide you through this day. Whenever you find yourself worrying about the future, repent and return to Me. I will show you the next step forward and the one after that. Relax and enjoy the journey in My Presence, trusting Me to open the way before you as you go” Deuteronomy 29; Luke 12; Psalm 32
In Him,

Rain rain go away...please! We need to get out spring sports up and going! Last week was a crazy week for middle school sports teams. Our Varsity boys baseball team squeezed in their games against St. Laurence and St. Vincent de Paul and battled it out in both games but unfortunately lost to both schools. Our Lady Saints Softball team and our Track and Field team got rained out in their respective games and meet. Our boys Varsity Lacrosse team got to play both River Oaks Baptist (ROBS) and St. Francis Episcopal, and our Lady Saints Lacrosse team also played ROBS despite the cold rainy weather. The outcome for both teams were losses but their scores were very close and they all look to get W's in the upcoming week!

Engineers Weeks- Going on Now!
Engineers invent things that amaze us in the moment. Think jaw-dropping space launch. But many of us take for granted much in this engineered world that is everyday amazing, like clean drinking water at the turn of a faucet. During Engineers Weeks, we celebrate engineers and how they improve our lives. The need for the next generation of practical inventors and innovators continues.
Mrs. Resweber, Computer Science Teacher, is looking for speakers for upper elementary and middle school classes who would be willing to host a 40-minute hands-on session during Engineers Weeks,
now- March 1.
Last year, we had several engineering disciplines represented by both men and women and the talks and demonstrations were wonderful! For more information, or to volunteer, please click the button below. For more information, please contact
Mrs. Resweber.

Did you know...that StJPII serves students from 41 different zip codes across the Houston area? While most of our families live in the Energy Corridor and Katy, many in our community drive from much further away. We our blessed by our families who have chosen to make StJPII to their home away from home. In spite of our size, we are a very tight-knit community! We are in the process of testing prospective students and we look forward to welcoming new families later this year!
