Smart Families
Smart Families is excited to be a part of our 2024-2025 school year. Throughout the year parents and children will be given information and tools to identify how their God given human dignity is under attack from common forms of manipulation utilized today. The heart of the program is the Smart Pledge where they ask all parents to agree to keep your school smartphone free and not buy their children a smartphone or device until after 8th grade. Read more about this organization by reading their newsletter linked below.

Arrival and Dismissal Vehicle Traffic
Recently the President of the local HOA reached out to Mrs. Bogard asking for help with our arrival and dismissal procedures.
Please help us be kind neighbors and respect the following:
1) Carpool line (AM/PM) - Do not block any entrances/exits into the neighborhood - keep all cross streets clear. The local HOA has observed and shared photo evidence that our carpool line prevents residents from entering/exiting their subdivisions safely. In addition to not blocking cross streets, please leave plenty of space at the corners of intersections, so that vehicles attempting to exit can easily see around your car. The Parkway Villages HOA specifically listed that the following entrances are often blocked by StJPII carpool vehicles: Windsor Cove, Charlton Park, and Sienna Cove.
2) Manderly Walkers (PM) - keep all driveways clear. Do not block or park across the end of residents' driveways. Please pick up your children and drive away, do not linger to chat/play.
3) Brimhurst (AM) - please drop off and go; there is no need to stay and wait for the children to cross, as this creates congestion/traffic.
If we all work together in a spirit of safety and courtesy for all, then we are confident that these issues will be resolved quickly. Thanks for your cooperation.
