Dear Saint Families,
Welcome back from our wonderful three-day weekend! I hope you were able to enjoy quality time with your family as we honored Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a man who embraced our “Be not afraid…” motto and made an incredible difference to our nation.
We have some exciting events on the horizon as we look forward to Catholic Schools Week (CSW)! Please review the complete schedule outlined below, which includes what children may need to wear on specific days. I especially hope to see all of you this Friday after Mass when we will honor our many volunteers for their service. If you have volunteered in any way this year, then you are invited to our volunteer reception so we can thank you! Our volunteers are saints on earth and we are eternally grateful for your service to StJPII!
Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of events that take place during CSW! Here at StJPII, our efforts are actually part of a larger national initiative to promote Catholic schools. As parents, it’s important to take time to reflect on the many blessings that a Catholic education offers our children. As we prepare for the excitement, I look forward to celebrating our wonderful community of students, teachers and families who make StJPII so special.
In Him we Trust,

Middle School Sports
This past week was a tough week for our boys basketball teams as they battled it out with St. Frances de Sales, St. Anne's and St. Vincent de Paul. Both teams took losses but displayed their never-ending passion and dedication to playing til the end, and showing great sportsmanship.
On the girls side, all three teams swept St. Frances and St. Vincent's, and then both 6th grade and Varsity closed out the week defeating St. Michael's but unfortunately the JV team lost.
This week will be the last week of District play, so please check the
Athletic calendar
and come out and watch as we play our last home games.
