Dear Saint Families,
Happy 2nd week of Advent! I pray you are enjoying this season preparing and waiting for the birth of Jesus. Advent, a total of four weeks, sure seems to pass quickly and sometimes does not feel like there is enough time to wait and anticipate as we are busy with many festivities. Hopefully you are finding time to reflect and deepen your relationship with Jesus. In one of my reflections today, I was reminded of the many miracles Jesus has performed and how our faith can be abundantly blessed from those around us. We are so fortunate to have our St. John Paul II community where we can share daily with one another our faith in action and prayer. As the year so quickly comes to a close and we are all reflecting on the abundance of blessings we have and hope to give to our loved ones at Christmas, remember too that through our gifts of time, talent and treasure, God works wonders!
We are truly grateful to our whole community for how God has blessed us to continue our mission to grow all of our students and lead them to sainthood. It is only through you with God’s grace that overabundance comes forth. If you would still like to allow God to work through you to bless our school, please prayerfully consider giving to our Annual fund.
May your family be blessed throughout this Holy Advent Season,
In Him,

Hello StJPII Families,
I hope this note finds each of you preparing for the celebration of the birth of Jesus with hope and peace in your heart. To help make this season even more peaceful, the PTO has a wonderful way to remember the people in our children’s lives. Each year we have been blessed to present our teachers and staff with a community Christmas gift. The PTO is asking families who would like to contribute to this gift to please send a suggested amount of $10 per teacher in an envelope labeled “Faculty and Staff Christmas Gift”. This envelope can be turned into the front office until
December 19. The PTO thanks you in advance for your generosity.
Merry Christmas,
Andrea Dvorachek

Middle School
Last week was a tough week for our boys basketball teams as they played two top schools in our league. St. Laurence and St. Vincent de Paul won despite our teams playing incredible defense and offense. Our Lady Saints basketball teams had a jam packed week as they started with JV and Varsity attending the Kinkaid School tournament where both teams did very well! Then in district play all three teams, C Team, JV, and Varsity took wins across the board defeating St. Laurence and St. Vincent de Paul. The Varsity team played in the St. Agnes tournament to close out their week ending with one win and two losses.
Please be sure to check the
Athletic calendar
to come out and support our teams!

Did you know.... Prayer is a pivotal part of the growth and development of not only our faith, but also our fellowship as Christians. For that reason, one of the longest standing traditions at StJPII is Prayer Partners within the Faculty and Staff community. During our in-service week, staff are anonymously assigned a prayer partner. Throughout the year, staff prays for their prayer partner, shares small gifts, and at the end of the school year, the prayer partners are revealed at the end of the year in-service
