Dear Saint Families,
Thank you so much for re-enrolling and we appreciate your patience! Here at StJPII, we are planning and preparing for our Open House and Catholic Schools Week. Be not afraid…to spread the good news about attending a Catholic School! As we approach Catholic Schools Week, see below a dozen reasons why to choose a Catholic School.
In the Bogard household, we certainly landed on Catholic education because God lead us here, so Be not afraid…to listen and to trust! We are overwhelmingly grateful to be members of the StJPII community. Investing in Catholic education has allowed our entire family to witness faith coming alive and helped us grow to be better people who strive to live faithfully, charitably, lovingly, and courageously. So thank you for being part of Catholic education; God will surely bless your family.
In Him we Trust,

Robotics News
The StJPII Awebots and Robokids Robotics teams competed against 25 other teams in
a FIRST LEGO League
(FLL) qualifier at Hogg Middle School this past weekend. The competition had several different parts- Core Values, Project, and Robot Game. The teams both competed well. The Awebots finished in the top 8 teams in the Robot Game, but the team's overall score for all parts placed them just outside of qualification for the regional competition. The Robokids received special recognition for their Teamwork at the competition, which in combination with their project score and top 10 finish in the Robot Game, placed them into the FLL East Regional Competition in about 6 weeks.
Congratulations to the Awebots and Robokids for their hard work and preparation for this FLL Qualifying Competition!

Middle School Sports
Last week was a very busy week for both our girls and boys basketball teams! Our Lady Saints started their week with both Varsity and 6th grade team beating St. Michael's, but unfortunately JV lost. Then we played St. Cecilia where JV won along with the 6th grade team, but then Varsity took the loss. Our 6th grade team closed out their week attending the St. Vincent de Paul Tiger Classic Tournament where they defeated all four opponents and took the 1st place Championship title!
The boys played St. Michael's as well and both teams won their games and then they took on the Indians from St. Cecilia and Varsity had a huge win, but JV battled it out to the very end and took the loss.
SPRING SPORTS ARE AROUND THE CORNER! Boys and Girls Lacrosse, Softball, Baseball and Track & Field are about to start! Please watch for more info regarding tryout dates for Lacrosse, Baseball, Softball, and then the start date for Track & Field which will begin the 2nd week of February. Information will be posted on
the
Athletic calendar
