Dear Saint Families,
Happy Tuesday Saints! It was a great long weekend and I hope you all shared some special family time together! Mine truly enjoyed the Steps for Students event with over 10,000 racers all celebrating Catholic Schools! I am so grateful for the families who came out to support StJPII; next year I know we will have an even bigger presence!
Thank you for your continued prayers for our future Saints that we are reviewing for the 2019-2020 school year. Yesterday, we were able to evaluate many new candidates while our teachers spent the day learning together at various professional development sessions with other Catholic school teachers in our Archdiocese.
Here's the scripture reflection I did today and wanted to share with you...
Be strong and take heart, all who hope in the Lord.
Ps. 31:24
“Trust the past to God’s mercy, the present to God’s love, and the future to God’s providence.”
~St. Augustine of Hippo

Engineers Weeks- Going on Now!
Engineers invent things that amaze us in the moment. Think jaw-dropping space launch. But many of us take for granted much in this engineered world that is everyday amazing, like clean drinking water at the turn of a faucet. During Engineers Weeks, we celebrate engineers and how they improve our lives. The need for the next generation of practical inventors and innovators continues.
Mrs. Resweber, Computer Science Teacher, is looking for speakers for upper elementary and middle school classes who would be willing to host a 40-minute hands-on session during Engineers Weeks,
February 18 - March 1.
Last year, we had several engineering disciplines represented by both men and women and the talks and demonstrations were wonderful! For more information, or to volunteer, please click the button below. For more information, please contact
Mrs. Resweber.

Did you know...
that StJPII teachers participate in 1,500 hours of continuing education every year? This is 50% more than is required of our public school teacher counterparts. Faculty development is a priority, so our teachers go above and beyond to remain innovative while serving our students' diverse needs. Just yesterday, our teachers participated in an In-Service that allowed them to collaborate with and learn from other educators. Our very own Mrs. Stieber and Mrs. Lamb were presenters! We are blessed by excellent teachers who are committed to developing our students both academically and spiritually. StJPII teachers love what they do and love our students!
