We offer Long Arm Quilting and Embroidery Services

With over 14 years of experience in long arm quilting you can read assured that your quilt is in good hands!

When you drop off your quilt, we will discuss your options to customize your quilt by helping you select the design and thread color.

We sell Quilters Dream Batting which is an excellent batting only sold in Quilt Stores or you can bring your own. We need for your batting to be substantial enough to take the "tug" when it is on the longarm and we suggest Warm and Natural, Hobbs or Pellon

In general, it takes approximately 3-6 weeks for a quilt to be completed depending on the time of year. Upon drop off, our Team will be able to give a more accurate turnaround time based on our current queue. If you have an urgent need, we do have a rush service for an additional fee.

Once quilted, your quilt is returned to you with raw edges intact, ready for you to trim and apply binding.

We can trim and bind your quilt for an additional fee

Prepping Your Quilt Top

To ensure a smoother quilting success, we recommend the following steps to prepare your quilt:

  • Trim and remove all basting seams, points, and excess threads.
  • Press all seams flat, making sure all seams are securely sewn.
  • Quilt top, batting and backing should be separated - not basted together.
  • Batting and backing fabric must be a minimum of 6” wider and longer than your quilt top to ensure 3" extra on every side. This allows sufficient room to attach the backing to the quilt frame.
  • To determine the square inches of your quilt top, multiply the length x width. There is a minimum charge of $35.00.
  • Any quilt not picked up within 90 days of notification of completion will become the property of Quilters Garden unless other arrangements are made.

Additional Services

In addition to edge-to-edge quilting services, we also offer the following services:

  • Seaming quilt backing is a $10 charge per seam.
  • Trimming your quilt - fee depends on size
  • We hand bind as well as machine bind your quilts
