Salem Sound Coastwatch is Hiring!
Salem Sound Coastwatch is seeking to diversify its staff and employ an educator who reflects the student demographic with whom we work. Position will begin as summer part-time with possible full-time in the school year. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

Salem Sound Coastwatch is an environmental non-profit and seeks to grow the small team of passionate individuals who are promoting stewardship action of our watershed at all levels. We believe that an innate love of learning and enthusiasm are keys to success at building the next generation of stewards and seeks an educator that will work to this end.

The Salem Sound Coastwatch Educator will help to develop and deliver education programming to youth in grades K-12, inspiring curiosity of the world around them and an understanding of the human impact on that world.

Aside from teaching time with students, there will be activity development and program planning time, which will include making videos to share virtually, creating kits for remote learning and sharing activities to engage hands-on learning with students.
