We believe that an innate love of learning and enthusiasm are keys to success at building the next generation of stewards and seeks an educator that will work to this end.
The Salem Sound Coastwatch Educator will help to develop and deliver education programming to youth in grades K-12, inspiring curiosity of the world around them and an understanding of the human impact on that world.
Aside from teaching time with students, there will be activity development and program planning time, which will include making videos to share virtually, creating kits for remote learning and sharing activities to engage hands-on learning with students. The Salem Sound Coastwatch Educator will use creativity and ingenuity to help grow the program and provide high quality STEM opportunities for youth.
