Dr. Kelly Griffith '83 & M'90 graduated from Salisbury with a B.S. in elementary education and a minor in mathematics, and she later pursued her master's in education administration. Her first job out of college was teaching 7th and 8th grade mathematics in Delaware. Her various teaching positions led her to finally pursue and achieve her doctorate in education in 2015.
  

Dr. Charles Wight Named New President of Salisbury University

The University System of Maryland Board of Regents has appointed
Charles Wight president of Salisbury University, beginning July 1, 2018. Wight will succeed Janet Dudley-Eshbach, who announced last fall her plans to step down from the position after 18 years.

Awards for Excellence

Two Salisbury University professors have earned the University System of Maryland’s highest faculty accolade: the Regents’ Award for Excellence. 


SU Student to Run 4K Relay Across U.S. for Ulman Cancer Fund

When Anna Wagner was 16, she learned about the Baltimore-based Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults’ 4K for Cancer, a national program raising money to provide cancer patient support through cross-country cycling (and later long-distance running).


Salisbury University's Giving Day Totals!

In one 24-hour period, over 1,500 supporters gave $133,665.11. With the generous matching gift provided by Wayne '89 and Melissa '89 Judkins, Sea Gulls raised $285,741.33! Every gift – when combined with others – does make a difference.
