Caroline Deschak '14 graduated from Salisbury with a B.S. in interdisciplinary studies geared toward global health and a minor in visual arts. Her experiences as a student at Salisbury led her to many experiences abroad and to win a Fulbright award that supports her in pursuing her master's degree in public health nutrition.

The Maryland Department of Commerce has approved a 129.9-acre Regional Institution Strategic Enterprise (RISE) Zone connecting SU with downtown Salisbury, including Peninsula Regional Medical Center. The City hopes the new designation will strengthen collaborative efforts between the University, municipality and hospital. The SU RISE Zone is one of only six currently in the state and the first on the Eastern Shore.

Salisbury University recently spotlighted the global vision of President Emerita Janet Dudley-Eshbach by renaming its Center for International Education in her honor.

Princeton Review Names SU Among Nation's
'Greenest' Colleges for Ninth Year

For the ninth consecutive year, The Princeton Review, in partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), has named Salisbury University one of the nation's environmentally responsible colleges.
