Happy December! We extend our best wishes to you as we approach the deep, dark time of winter that can be both joyous and challenging.

Much of our work is encouraging students and Salish Sea residents to learn about the Salish Sea and be part of its’ recovery. Please consider a gift to the Salish Sea Institute.

The Seattle Times editorial board gave a shout out to the Hands Across the Water event organized by volunteers from Orcas and Salt Spring islands. We agree that it’s more important than ever for Washingtonians to collaborate with our friends and colleagues in British Columbia.
