We're kicking off 2026 with a new paper about Basking Sharks.

As the second largest fish in the world that once gathered in enormous aggregations in the Salish Sea, we acknowledge their brutal history and our hopes for their recovery. Thanks to Dr. Kelly Bushnell, one of our Salish Sea Fellows, for her excellent work on this paper.
