Welcome to December!
December always arrives with a full calendar and plenty to celebrate and activities to participate in, and this year is no exception!
Tonight, we come together for the Business Excellence Awards which is one of my favourite evenings of the year. It’s a chance to recognize the hard work, creativity, and commitment that local businesses and organizations pour into our community every day. If you’re joining us, we can’t wait to celebrate with you. If not, we’ll share the winners on Monday!
Our final Business After Business of the year is set for Wednesday, December 10, hosted by Ricochet Brewing & Taphouse from 5:30–7:30 PM. It’s a relaxed way to wrap up the year with good conversations, local connections, and Ricochet’s $15 flight-and-pretzel/taco special. Everyone is welcome - please RSVP link is below or send me an email. And please note that it is not on our usual second Tuesday
We’ve also released our 2026 Membership and Partnership Opportunities. If you’re thinking about adding a partnership level next year, please connect with me. These spots are limited and confirmed on a first-come basis.
A quick note about the holidays:
The Chamber office will be “closed” from noon on Friday, December 19 until 9:00 AM on Monday, January 5. I’ll have an out-of-office reply on and will check emails periodically, but won’t be actively working. Social media will continue to run as scheduled.
And of course, December brings some fun community festivities including the Forage General Yuletide Village on December 29 and 30, and the Rotary Parade. If you’re able, take some time to enjoy the celebrations and support our local businesses and organizations.
