Dedicated to providing leadership and vision to support strategic economic growth within our community

November News

November is shaping up to be an exciting month for our business community!

First, congratulations to all the nominees of the 2025 Business Excellence Awards. Each nomination tells a story of dedication, hard work, and community spirit, and together they remind us of the strength and creativity that drive local business in Salmon Arm.

Finalists in each of the 14 categories will be announced on Monday, November 3rd, and they’ll be invited to the Finalists Roundtable, hosted by Doane Grant Thornton on November 13th from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Prestige. It’s a great chance to meet other finalists, share experiences, and connect before the celebration on awards night.

If you haven’t picked up your tickets for the Business Excellence Awards, now’s the time—this event will sell out, and for good reason. It’s one of the best nights of the year to come together and celebrate the people and businesses that make Salmon Arm thrive.

There are also a few tickets still available for the SIRES Conference, happening November 3rd to 5th. The conference brings together leaders from across the Southern Interior to build stronger regional connections and share practical tools for economic growth. Attendees will leave with new partnerships, fresh ideas, and a collective vision for how our region can work together to shape future policy. Visit sires.ca for more information and registration.

Our Arm-in-Arm Advantage Program is continuing to grow, giving Chamber members access to exclusive savings and offers from local businesses. If you’d like to add your own offer, let us know - we’d love to include it.

And finally, if you’re looking for ways to support other members, take a few minutes to explore our Business Directory. It’s a simple but powerful way to keep business local and strengthen the connections that make this community so unique.

Thank you for your ongoing support and engagement—it’s what keeps our Chamber strong and our business community moving forward.
