Winter Enrichment Program (WEP)

Students were thrilled to participate in their scheduled WEP activities today. Elementary students wrapped up their second session of classes and concluded their 2019 WEP activities! Delicious smells wafted through the hallways from cooking classes, magic tricks were demonstrated in the hallways and a wide variety of art projects were completed and shared with peers. Thank you to everyone who has supported WEP this year, especially the parent volunteers who shared skills and offered support to both students and staff!

Middle School students completed WEP day #5! From the top of the mountain, to the top of the Space needle, students seemed happy to be participating in WEP activities. We'll have one more WEP day, rescheduled to March 1st, when students return from break.

Salmon Bay School Tours

Salmon Bay Evening Tour Rescheduled
Join us right after the break with a chance for families to learn about our program and to hear from teachers.
Tuesday, February 26th
Elementary: 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Middle School: 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Every year we try to hold all our tours before the open enrollment window closes, unfortunately snow days have prevented that this year.   We have spoken with enrollment, and advocated that the open enrollment window be extended to allow for families to tour schools before having to make a choice.  With that said, at this juncture the first open enrollment window is set to close February 22nd.  Get your forms in on-time to have the best chance of placement.
Open Enrollment for School Choice information and forms

From Admin

Salmon Bay Family,

Thank you for your patience with all the late starts and missed days of school.  It has been a less than smooth start to February and  our 2nd semester of classes in MS.   Thank you as well for voting - although we are moving into a difficult budget cycle for the school district, having the levy dollars is a tremendous help.

Today our elementary Winter Enrichment Program wrapped up.  A big thanks to all those who helped make this happen - leading classes, assisting in the classroom, and supporting students.
Enjoy the mid-winter break with your families!
To Snow Fun and Beach Sun and Joy,
Neil, Annie and Darren
