Welcome to Annie Parker

Dear Salmon Bay Community,

Today at Friday Sing we welcomed Annie Parker, our newly hired Assistant Principal for the 2018-19 school year.   Annie jumped right in and passed the Dum-Dum-Ditty University Level course (see picture) with flying colors.  Darren will be shifting his focus toward the Middle School in the coming year, and we are both excited to welcome her to our admin team and our community!
Best,
Neil

Here's a note from Annie:

Hello, Salmon Bay Community!

I feel honored to be joining the Salmon Bay team, and am excited to get to know you all, the students, families, staff, and community.  As a 10-year educator in Seattle Public Schools, I am deeply committed to serving our students and hold them at the center of my work.  In years past, I've taught in grades 3-5, was a literacy intervention teacher, STAR Mentor, and Head Teacher/Dean of Students.  I am so grateful to be starting this next part of my journey at Salmon Bay.

Thank you for choosing me to be a part of the amazing things already happening at Salmon Bay.  I look forward to our work together.

Best regards,
Annie Parker
